M1000 turbo

Super excited, just picked a m1000 turbo. It has the twisted turbo, timbersled rear skid, v amberg tunnel fox floats and much more. I will post some pics later. I was a member here 15 yearsago but lost my login info. lol

First thing I'm doing is welding In a small muffler. Its Loud!!

here is a few pics. Boost is set at 8lbs, shain from twisted tuned it and clutched it. Cant wait to ride it. Has 1000 miles and 100 on fresh top end.

Anyone have a cold air intake set up for this set up? would like to get intake up close to upper good vents.

I seen a m1000 with a jaws muffler on here with a twisted turbo like mine. looks like it would drop the sound level alot. Any ideas??

My m1000 turbo was built in 2008, did shain use the 3071 on all the 1000's?

Pretty sure he also used the 3076. Thats what i had.

He did use both on the 1000. You can Google the tag number on the center section tag to find out what turbo you have. As for fresh air, it needs a snorkel for optimal cool air, any underhood air is hot. JMO
