I need some help! I have a 08 M1000 with the 09 update. It ran fine before the update, now it runs quite rich on the bottom and midrange. i was told that i could now add a Y pipe and also open up my airbox to allow more air. I did this and it did improve the bottom and mid range. I have not had a chance to get it to the mountains to see what it will do wide open. My question is now that i have leaned it out on the bottom and mid range, will it be to lean on the top end? I don't have a fuel box or exhaust temp gauges. Also can anyone explain to me how a fuel box works? Do you have to change the maps everyb time you change elevation? (eg Going from flat land to the mountains).
