m1000 top end

I have a question I tore down a top end for a friend because it has low comp. on one cylinder but here is a pic of both cylinders and they look fine with a 14-1 head it had 148 on the mag side and 135 on the pto side any thoughts or imput rings burned off?

Hard to tell from these pics, but there looks to be a decent amount of detonation to me?
The bottom pic in particular looks like a decent amount of deto.


What elevation & type of gas is he running?

thats what I thought the problem is the cop. is low and Im thinking the rigs got to hot I cant think of another reason why ill have him clean the piston up
and try to get a better pic today

x2...yep he may need some gas mixing to happen if he rides some low elevations...rering/deglaze you should be on your way]

I ride 3-6k and with race fuel added it runns bad
