M1000 spider jam nut coming off, why?

I've got an 09 M1000 with the mods listed below and the large jam nut in the center of the clutch on the spider keeps backing off, anybody have any idea why this keeps happening? My dealer thinks maybe something to do with harrmonics on the crank or to much vibration but I cant believe I'm the only one to have experianced this, even though they havent seen anything like this before. Anybody else have this happen? Any info would be appreciated, thanks.:thumb:

Has it been apart? If they did not use green locktite it could come loose. I think the torque is Like 250ftlbs. With green locktite.

Thanks, the problem never happened until the dealer put a new clutch on after the original one ate up a weight after 1200 miles. The first one they put on made it two rides until the nut came off and then when I took it apart I also found a broken cover bolt, they told me some times the bolts will break with clutch heat, not sure I'm buying that line. However they put on another new clutch for me again which was great but one ride later I have the same nut floating around inside the clutch again, only 165 miles on the last two clutches. I looked where the nut goes on and there is no sign of any kind of loctite anywhere. I will try the red loctite since thats all I have and hopefully that does it, the dealer told me 125 ft lbs of torque and then he said " but we just hit it for a sec with the impact usually ", maybe thats the problem? Dont know for sure, but I would sure like to figure this out.

spider is 250 ft/lbs and jamb nut is 85 lbs. just clean threads real good and use red loctite. you will be fine. give it a few days to setup might be a good idea if you have the time.
