M1000 spark plugs

I heard that ski-doo guys have been replacing thier $9 spark plugs for a different 3$ plug and gaining 3 HP. Anyone heard of this. Will it work on the 1000?

I don't understand. The BR9EYA's are only $3 each. What are you asking?

Aaron

yea Ill take 6 HP too LOL, They are putting a spark plug in that has the electrode more exposed and it supposedly makes more power. Didnt know if any AC guys were doing it or not.

E3

I am giving the new E3 plugs a try this next week, supposed to generate a more balanced spark for better combustion = greater efficiency = more HP. But the jury is still out. I'll let you know.

So you buy spendy plugs that work as if you had tw plugs per cylinder: wait we do have two per cylinder:pound:

Wow

Maybe you should check the price first before you decide that I am an idiot..:jaw:...The E3's are the same price as the BR9's at my dealer and I figure for the same price it is worth at least trying them don't you think????:painkiller:

Consumer reports did a test a few years back. Compared 10-12 plugs, spendy to cheap. Conclusion - some may last longer but a spark is a spark is a spark.
