Just making sure these reeds will work in my 2010 m8 pg turbo. Heard the m8 ho reeds are different and want to make sure the m1000 reeds will still work.
Thanks Ryan

I am running them in my 2010. I wanted to see if they hold up better than the stock ones.....they made 1200 miles and got 300 miles on these now.

You made 1200 miles on the stock ones....what boost levels, intercooler?

If I understand you are trying the M1000 reeds now? Did the performance change at all......better/worse bottom/top????

Thanks

I checked them around 800 miles and they looked good. I then started noticeing my takeoff getting worse at around 1200 miles so checked reeds and they were a little chipped up. I then replaced them with 1000 reeds that fixed my bottom end right away. I dont know if I could tell any difference in new m8 vs. new m1000 reeds as far a performance. I am running 8 psi no cooler.... half my miles do come from ND tho where its not over the hood powder so intake temps are cooler thats got to make a difference.

I put 1000 reeds in last year, 10' m8 @10-12psi no-intercooler, and they seemed to work fine. I really can't compare because I installed them when I bought it. He had 450 miles on stock reeds at 15 psi and they were pretty chipped on a couple petals when I pulled them. Heard some people say it hurts the bottom end on launch but I never got beat out of the hole when racing any n/a sled. Haven't pulled them yet to see what they look like, maybe at the end of this year I will unless they fail.
