M1000 Prep For Colorado

Im getting ready to take my first trip out to Winter Park Colorado on the 26th of this month. I got an 07 M1000 with complete SLP Exhaust system, boondocker Box and a few other lil extras. The place where we are staying in the mountains is somewhere around 9000ft. My question is what do i have to do to get her ready for the elevation. I live at like mabe a 1000ft feet so. Am I going to have to re-clutch, re-jet or am i just going to have to re map the Boondocker box. Im kinda lost so id really appreciate some detailed info. Thanks Bobi.

I just bought an 08 M1000 holdover and I ride in Michigan (around 800 ft) and in Colorado (Rabbit Ears). Im not sure about the Boondocker box but you will def. have to reclutch. You will need a new spring in the primary and a new set of weights. My sled is completely stock and I bought a set of Cutler Performance Adjustable weights (75 gram to 85 gram) and new arctic cat primary spring. I run 83 gram in michigan and will run 75 gram at 10 k feet, purple primary spring in MI and the Yellow White primary spring at 10K. Next year I will buy a new secondary setup, for now I just have the stock secondary. Trying to keep the cost down.
