m1000 on nos???

wanted to hear who is running nos on the m1000's and liking it. we've got four in the group and one runs nitrous. When it works it runs like a rabbid dog but it seems to be hit and miss and when it misses it really misses. started out with a bd box now running a boss nos control. He also runs twins and the twins alone took a long time to get figured out so maybe it is just the sauce with the twins, not sure. Be good to hear how everyone else is doing with it.

With all the answers that came rolling in I guess that pretty much answered how the nitrous is working on the 1000. LMAO

I would get a hold of Nitrous Express. I haven't ran nitrous on mine but I like the way there kit works alot better than the others. They'll even tell you not to go too high of H.P. or you will have to change your clutching to work with the extra power which will make your sled run undesirabley without the NOS. They prefer you premix your oil and use your oil reservoir to hold the race fuel that is required when you hit the button, the kit even comes with it's own fuel pump that pumps from the reservoir. It uses a heat blanket to regulate bottle pressure, which will require a small battery. Its a slick set up in my opinion.

 

[RACINSTATION]

We have 3 M1000s that we put nos on. 2 Boondockers kits and 1 Nitrous Express. They all kick butt!! Reliability has been great and they are just shy of an M8 pump gas turbo in the hills.

i ran BD nos last season...
it worked kinda good i guess..

got the system waay to late in the season, up and running late april and it wasn't running any good with the numbers BD recommended... until i switched the 30 nozzles to the 50
then it was fun

i only ran 2 bottles and one i emptied on the 30 nozzles so quite a useless bottle :-/
but i ran one on the 50 and holy moly was it cool..
but until i got it right (my own fault) our season ended...

i sold it cause i got a good offering but if i were to mod the 1000 more i would get a complete pipe + nitrous..
for the cost it's way worth it.. IMHO
