M1000 EGT Different Cylinder Temps???

Hey all. Wondering if anyone can tell me roughly how close the two cylinders should run to each other. Just installed them and the MAG side runs about 250 F hotter at idle. Havent got to ride it yet but will this weekend and wondering if that sounds ok for a difference??? THANKS ALOT!

it shouldnt run more than 300-350 at idle anyway depending on probe placement , so 250 difference is a red flag. it could be a probe problem, sparkplugs, wires, coil packs etc. but more than likely its from idling for extended periods. have you been starting it alot and let it idle? cats will load up if you start them and shut them off without fully warming them up. i would go ride the $hit out of it and the temps will even up once you ring it out :)

hum that dont sound good. its been running fine but just wanted to put the EGT's on before headin to Revy for spring riding so i could watch the temps good, cuz put a boondocker box an speedwerx pipe and y pipe on it. guess when i get there will be the real test :face-icon-small-dis

30-50 degrees difference is the norm. Anything over 100 at wide open is a red flag. Most of the time it is a bad probe.
