I was wondering what I should run for primary weights in a 2007 M1000 at 7000ft + ,it has a can on it and an open air intake. It has 65 grams right now but I thought that was too much, if anyone has a similar setup let me know where you ended up with springs -weights etc:
thanks

Arctic Cat posted a white sheet for their dealers regarding the proper clutching for the 07 1000 and 800.
The peek engine preformance for the 07 M1000 is at 7200-7400 rpm. Riding at 6000-9000' you should have 70 gram weights; riding at 10,000'+ you should have 68 gram weights. I ride alot over 10,000' so I installed the 68 gram weights. I also put an after market y pipe on mine; with the 68 gram weights and the y pipe I am running 72-7400 rpm depending on the altitude.
