M1000 clutching...any help?

I'm sure there's been a few posts on this but here goes....

07 M1000 162 with Speedwerx pipe & Y-pipe, V-Force reeds, K & N pods, Pure Logix fuel controller. Riding at the 4000 - 7000 ft level. The question is what clutching set up: primary weights and spring, secondary spring should this thing be running. Also, what rpm should I be running with this setup?

I'm running the same setup as you. My clutching is stock with 68gr. weights. I'm pulling 7500 rpm with the 046 belt. It seems to work pretty good.

does your sled still have the four tower primary if so try this 65mph track speed climbing factory red primary spring ,63 gram weights if four tower clutch, 46/40 secoundary helix (original style) and factory titainum secoundary spring I marked my clutches with a felt marker to see how much of the clutches I am using belt travels to the top of primary and bottom of secoundary I use an 060 belt I had problems with the 046 and they dont last like the 060 kevlar belt I pull 7350 to 7400 rpm 6000 to 9000 feet also try polishing your shives it makes a difference.

shoot for 7600-7800 but 7500rpm work good as well. 68g and stock springs worked for me but sat around 7500rpm I'd prob grind my weight to 66g if I still had the sled. 55-60mph track speed at 6000ft
