m1000 boondocker pump gas

I have one, rode it in revelstoke one day, I was just starting to get it dialed in, when what I thought was a faulty boondocker box turned out to be a broken ground wire:mad: however even poorly tuned it pulled unbelievable. Once I get it working, I think its gonna be awesome.:D:beer;
 
mines all put together just waiting for the ebc... might be a dumb question but does the oil catch can have a lid?

I thought the same thing. There's no lid for it. We had a couple of them up side down this week and nothing ever leaked out.
 
Here are a couple of pictures of my M1000 race gas kit; still tuning would interest in any PSI lo & hi settings.

Having problems with it dying coming off boost, could be the way my ebc solenoid is hooked in to boost line going to fuel pump (as Boondocker instructed). They are sending out a new charge tube with two boost connections. Will try it again this weekend, pulls very hard at 12 PSI, but the drying off boost makes it impossible to ride.

From what I have read, the dying when you come off boost is from being a little lean in the mid/bottom numbers.(making the mid a little richer worked on mine) The sloution, shy of changing your box is to richen up the mid or bottom. I have a PGT and after a few weekends on the snow my numbers look like this 3000- -1-1 0 5000 -3 -6 0 PSI- 01 08 24 riding at 6500 feet. Im not sure if that will help you, but good luck.

Do you have your ebc yet? What boost are you running, what elevation and what type of fuel?

I got my kit a week back and had it installed shortly after when I noticed the controll box said M8 PG turbo? Called Boon they must have sent the wrong box!!!!!!! Still no ebc -No bost controll what so ever-no intercooler .This has been the most frustating experience I have had with snowmobiling period. I paid for this kit on Sept 9th .I have a horrible feeling this is far from over.:confused:

Once you get all the parts and its all running, its well worth the wait! Nice quality piece.
