M1000 Advice

I need some advice on the 07 M1000's. I am looking at one with 2300 miles but has a new motor and the update in the motor. What were the problems with these sleds? Any more info. would be great.

I had the same sled 2500 miles before I sold it, if it had the ecu update it might run like poo. I'm not sure if they ever got that straitened out. if not then no worries, mine ran great in stock form without the update and ran even better with the pipe set from slp

Never heard of any updates to the motor. The ECU update is horrible on the 07s. I was fortunate enough to get my hands on a non-flashed ECU and the sled runs great. I would definately ask if it's been flashed (hopefully not)

you really should check new non- current pricing in the states because Canada is like 5000-6000 dollars off brand new 2008's
