O.k, before i go out and buy a bunch of expensive clutching for this 2008 m1000 with a 162" track, thats completely stock. Whos tried what and what seems to make the best track speed on climbs while holding rpms and back shift. I find that this sled is slow and doesnt make enuf track speed for my liking, Over turbo hill last week in a foot of fresh i was lucky to have about 30mph of average track speed throughout. Any one try lower angle of helix, allowing the clutch to shift out instead of holding back? I tried a 46/40 with the factory weights but it wasnt a good test as the sled only pulled 7000 to 7150 rpms. sled made speed quicker but then plateaued.
thanks ahead of time.
