M10 rear suspension for mounain setup

Can the older m10, I believe its the metric m10, be a good rear suspension with ice age rails in an IQr chassis. I would like to build an IQr in the future and I now have access to a cheap m10 and would like to know if it is worth it in the end. I know the attack angle is kind of steep but wouldn't just setting it back in the tunnel a little bit solve that issue?

Yes they can work excellently! Talk to Trevor at Mac's Machine, he'll hook you up with updates and a set up that will work very well.
They don't like drop and rolls, and the only way it will transfer will be if you set it up geometrically correct. But Trev will go over that with you. Also you can build your own mounting plates too, I used 3/16 aluminum sheet to build mine. No troubles with anything bending. Also if you set it up correctly there will be no rail troubles like some have seen.
