So has anyone done this yet, ive been tryin to find a wrecked z1 but have had no luck, think it would work, or just plow snow

I THINK, I say think, because it is just a theory.....that you would just plow snow. I had a wild idea to try to shoehorn a Nytro motor into an M chassis until I started looking closely at weight distribution and the engine would sit so much farther forward than the M engine and would give you a VERY front heavy sensation.
There was a guy on Snowest that did this and his work looked AWESOME. I did not ever hear from him on how it worked. The other issue to consider is the extra frame rigidity that would be required for such a big 4 stroke motor. You would have to beef up the bulkhead to prevent flex and also to keep things together while pounding the trails.

theres a couple of guys on the skidoo thread putting turbo vector motors in rev 1000 chasis's but i havent seen any four strokes in M's yet. seen one of the yamadoo's run in revy and man it was impressive.
I have heard rumors of Cat engineers having an M with a Z1 turbo shoe horned in. Might be an interesting project sled .
CR racings is not in an M chassis unless they have two of them they had a Turbo Cat with a long track kit at the Edmonton Snowshow but it was not in a M series chassis.

sorry MT, didn't see the "M". my boss at C3 powersports has a carbon fibre M series with a turbo apex motor in it. seems to do all right.
The one that CR built is the Z1 chassis, with a cr tunnel, can't remember what skid. I think it'd be no different than any other turbo sled, if you want it to work really good you have to put an afternarket skid in it. CR's is supposed to be 260hp just with a tuner box, so I don't imagine it just plowing snow.
