m-series

I'm partial to revs because i have one but the M series sleds are sometimes smoother and more predictable sleds especially when sidehilling. i'm 6' and 180lbs and i find the rev lays over but i takes a lot of rider input and getting used to where the Ms easier to just get on and ride. I like jumps and drops though so an arctic cat is no good to me...

Cats hands down lay over and carve through the deep snow and side hill better than the ski-doos. In the deep bottom less snow and hill climbiming the ski-doos are hard do beat. If you want a cat that will compare to a ski-doo in deep snow you have to go with the 162 because cat is 15 wide against doos 16 wide tracks

My preference is riding a rev, although the M’s lay over easier and are great for side hilling. I still like the rider forward position on the doo. I find my rev gives a little smother ride on the rough trails and goes through more snow, but it does have more inches of track. However a M with lots of track speed can do the same or better depending on power of course.
I have both Revs and M,s and ride both quite often. They both have good and bad issues.
Doo’s are more economical by far. A full days ride the M8’s use 8 to 10 liters ( a couple of US gals more.

Own 3 and wouldn't go any other direction...wonderful climbers, flip on a moments notice with little to no effort, and boondock through just about anything...not necessarily your best freestyle sled but rocks EVERYWHERE else

What? You can't do jumps or drops on an M??? I wish somebody would have told me that before I dropped that 25ft cornice this afternoon. I had been jumping it all day too. What am I missing?

haha

yup no doubt the M lays over easier and if your a 130 pound rider like myself the REV chasis will throw your *** over the handlebars if you try an manhandle it sidehilling breaking through cornus's ect like i do on my M, the rev owns my ***, where my m i feel in control, you people say it lays over too easy, thats because your coming from a sled thats harder to put on its side. you dont throw it over like a rev, you just change your foot pressure and stay mounted with both feet on the sled. once you feel the confort zone of a M on its side you feel like you can do anything!!!! i can go in a strait line through a parking lot on one ski the whole time just by adjusting my weight right. your weight positioning on an M means a lot more. i noticed with the rev you need to break to get the front to dive then turn/throw to get a nice sharp turn. the M you can throw at leasure anytime quickly for when that trees all a sudden right there!!

both great sleds! wish they made a arctic doo where all the badass things about both them were on the same sled :P

You are sooooooo right! The weight shift is everything..... can lay one on its side and sidehilling is effortless
