m series to nytro

looking to hear from people that came off an M8 or M10 and went to a nytro good and bad.

I'm looking at building a tm8 or a tnytro for the next season and want to get the sled now so I can break her in.

thanks guys

im off an 07 m1000 and bought a nytro and boosted it will never look back funnest sled iv ever been on gas and go

i came off a stock 08 m8 and now ride a mtx. my m8 sits in the shed like a relic from another era. there is no comparison of the two. the nitro is more responsive, reliable and just a blast to ride. and the fuel mileage is great. even after 3 or 4 hours of hard riding it never gets tired. i will never go back to a cat

Rode a M8t last year and this year I built a nytro and would rather ride the nytro hands down. Last year I spent way to much time wrenchen.

Yea what about the stock nytro? sum can't afford a turbo. im on an m7 and really what to try the four stroke route. i hear the nytro is the best balanced sled but, how does it fly and side hill?

Stock for stock the M7 will spank the nitro hands down!!! I rode my nitro 500 miles stock before adding the turbo. The nitro is very well balanced, and extremely fun to ride stock, but don't think that your going to hang with the m sleds. The nitro jumps exellent way better than my M1000, the landings are not as soft as an M7 or M8 but not bad for the weight of the sled. My advice is to buy one and add a turbo when you can afford it. The simple fact is, if you don't have to be the top dog the nitro is a very fun sled stock..

my nytro and m8 are bone stock, the m8 is definately going to have alot more balls in the power department. don't buy a nyto based on the fact that you might run faster and higher than a m8. you won't. thats why alot go to the turbo. i can't afford a turbo now either however i still prefer the nytro over the m8. the nytro is more responsive, better built and once you learn how to ride it you will be going just as far as the m8, just not as fast. don't be discouraged though, when i first got my nytro i was expecting it to be a huge lunking boat anchor of a sled. not at all the case, i put it to the bars and it planted my arse on the back of the machine in no time. throttle resonse and torque is amazing. i bought the nytro based on yamaha quality. i bought the m8 based on cat power and performance. the cat left me stranded 3 times and has had tons of problems. the nytro hasn't even burped yet. six of one, half a dozen of another. i prefer to ride home not walk

oh and as for sidehilling it isn't as easy as the m8 however with better skis it does a great job for me. i kinda had to re-learn how to ride. it just takes a bit of time. the weight difference is about the only thing you will need to get used to.

What skis did you go to?

I agree, stock for stock you won't beat 800 2smoke, but as stated above don't buy the Nytro if you want to be the biggest bad@ss on the mountain (unless you turbo) but if you want to have a blast riding and gas and go get the Nytro. I LOVE mine. Oh yah and it's stock. :beer;:beer;
