M Series Spindles

Wondering if and how these things come apart. To me they looked pressed and spot welded. Im gettin Everything powder coated today and they wouldnt do the spindles.. Cause they were together

Take the plastic cap out of the top, you will most likely distroy it and need to order two more. Remove the retaining clip at the top of the spindle, and the allen head bolt. Now support the outer part of the spindle some how so you can tap the inner part of the spindle out of the piece that the steering rod goes to. You will need to use a large brass drift pin or a socket to get the inner part all the way through. Hope that helps.

Nope. This is for an 08. I pulled the caps. And there is no snap ring and no screws unless, im really retarded

Can you post a picture? What does the fiche look like? They have to come apart.

I am pretty sure the 08/09 spindles are welded and cannot be taken apart.

They don't come apart, they are like the 05-07 sno-pro spindles welded. Have to paint or powdercoat them together.

Why wouldn't they? Just need to make sure all the grease is burned out of them first.

apparently there is some plastic bushings in there from what ive been told?? Anyone know about this?? Or any reasons??

I had my 08 powder coated I just had the coater bake them first to boil all the grease out worked great put them back on then greased them up
