M-series seat and tank on a 1M?

Any ever put a M-series seat and tank on a 1M?

I'd like to get a narrower seat/tank combo on my sled so I can stand without feeling like I'm riding a horse. I thought about just getting a new hi-rise seat, but it looks like the wide tank would still leave me bow legged.

Thoughts or suggestions?

where there's a will there's a way lol
i am sure you could make it work, how much work it woud be i don't know
but the tunnel on the "m" is narrower by an inch, but that would only be 1/2 inch on either side,, shouldn't look too odd.i think the hardest part would be making the dash fit the hood /hoop area.
someone on here put a whole m series body on a 1m chasis plastics and all, can't remember who it was though, think it was a guy in switzerland, but his info is on here somewhere..

Bearcat on the forum. That machine is awesome! Great build topped with new plastics.

This is what I made. Hard to see in the second pic but it's narrow. 8" at the top. Tapered down to the tunnel. I'm not tall. 5'8" but this exact set-up is the most comfortable I've ever felt on a sled.
I wanted a seat similar to my Firecat where my legs didn't touch the seat or tunnel at all. Made racing that much easier until those rev's came out :P This is what I came up with on this sled. Been on there for 6 years, went all black with a new cover a couple years ago.
