So, since I melted my diamond drive and have been waiting for parts I figured now is a good time to do a couple things while shes broke down.
I decided to update my seat and give her a fresh look. The problem with the old seats is that if you utilized the storage compartment you'll know it raches the **** out of the aluminum tunnel.
I used a tripoli jewelers rouge bar and a buffing wheel to do a surface cut and get rid of all the grim build up and surface scratches. I could have spent alot more time with the buffer and got it absolutely perfect but for a couple hours the finish is 10 times better. I followed up the cut with some Mothers all metal polish and yes, the power ball. After I was done I sealed it with some wax. Overall I'm happy the finish looks better and the seat looks amazing.
