m series headlight options

looking for different ideas, mostly interested in all options from venting to delete kits, etc. I know BDX has a good one, and mod rods has good vent kiit for it but looking to see pics as well, post what you have

nice, i think i will go with those, what does the kit come with, easy install? do you have to do anything as far as resistor since the headlight are not taking up that power now? Mine would be on an 09

easy just 8 darts to hold em in. No resistor but a helmet light that is in use most of the time.

X2 on the bdx delete. no resistor required for the 09's and I think the 08's as well. My 06 m7 tho I have to run a boondocker 100 watt resistor or the ecu fries. That is expensive!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know pic Uv already seen.........

here's a couple options:

the green sled has a headlight that I gutted the back of, then swiss cheesed the lens, then added filter material over the top & stapled to the back, works very well & was really cheap, also you can run one light & one vent.

The black sled has venting from www.extremetoyprotection.com If you don't need lights that's by far the superior way to go, the most venting of any of the options. The bdx look cool, but I think they need more venting for how much space the lights take up.

Very easy to make your own.
Buy some 1/4" hardware cloth and pet screen.
Form the hardware cloth inside the opening from the back side, cover with pet screen, and attatch with the holes for the headlight and windshield.
This way 100% of the opening can vent.

the vent mod rods is a half @$$ copy of the one mtn fit has. t=the ony difference is on the back sode os the mtn fit it has a groove down the center so it bends easier, and you dont get a weird bubble in the mesh. and mtn fit is less money. i know there hard to get ahold of nut i see the owner on a regualr basis, so let me know if i can help.
