Can anyone tell me if you need some sort of special tool to install those funny looking three prong rivets required to fasten the exhaust deflector to the belly pan? Will a standard rivet gun work?

Yes your plain old rivet gun will do the job.You just have to go to Arctic Cat for the proper rivets. I tryed ordinary rivets with a small washer but didn't work. Went to Cat dealer and got the right rivets. I used them thinking that they had given me the wrong ones but they mushroomed just like origionals. Hope this helps.

I used the standard aluminum 3/16" rivets with a backing washer, no problem at all.
