M-7 turbo pipe

Does any one make a turbo pipe for a M-7. Mine pipe needs to be welded again and it has been welded so many times now that I would just as soon buy a thicker turbo specific made pipe. I know there are pipes for the 8's and 1000's but I don't know if they will work on my 7.

On the M7, we take the clamshell off and grind the seem down on front and back where it is basically pressed together. Then run a good weld along the seam and they have been holding up good. I have a used one for sale or we could do yours for you or any welder can do it.

I blew out the back seam up at Revy, that really ruins a trip. So all my seams have been redone. But the place it now always cracks is the bend down to the flange where it bolts to the turbo. Thats the piece that Boondocker added to my stock pipe.

I would check the thickness of that area. I have not seen any blow there. We usually see them blow on the back of the pipe toward the steering post on the seem.

That is where mine first split out. It is hard to find on the mountain when suddenly you have no boost. The clam shell covers it pretty good.
Well I have a pretty ugly patch on that bend now and it should hold for another season. I just need to paint and re-wrap and I am good to go.
After this many years with boost on that pipe it does not surprise me to see it split or cracked anywhere.
