M 1000 help

ok i have went through every thing on my sled its a 2008 m1000 the gauge always flashes ccu and the reverse light is on or flashing even when im not in reverse i thought there might be a short some where but i dont think there is unless i missed it ... any thoughts?

Buttons stuck

The button that turns your beeper on it stuck.

ok how do i go about fixing that do i replace the revrse buton?

Just tear into it

They some times get belt or just gummed up clean it up and make sure it works free they can also get on a bind. I seen belts blow bent the shield and mess with the button. Check the shield and see if its hitting the button.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think Kevin is talking about the reverse button on the handlebars. I think he is talking about a button on the DD case.

I am guessing so...

I bet he is talking about the one by the foot rest. If you blow a belt and get some stuck under the push button on the handle bars I'd say you win the trophy.
