m-10 159

I am running a M-10 159 live axle suspension. Has anyone been able to get some weight transfer out of this suspension? I know a lot of you are going to sugest a different suspension but I have this one and want to try to get it working better. BTW suspension is in a 05 800 Polaris RMK with a 162 Cat Challenger track.

Not to much trouble with transfer on mine, but I run a 159" track and have a 220Hp triple in it.

First, 159 suspension and 162 track; did you extend or do a setback? A setback will work against transfer, and these suspension are used to counter transfer on big Hp machines. So extend, dont set back.

Transfer blocks, the plastic pieces sliding in the rear of your rails, cut them shorter so it can be compressed more before it couples.

Mounting position: if the bolts in your chassi (front vs. rear) are closer together it will couple later/less and you get your front up easier. WARNING! You must understand how the geometry works or you can make it destroy your chassi!!

Hope this helps some.

Good tip! I got a 151 Live going in my Rev this spring/summer so that'll help!
