M-10 144 to 162

I have an M-10 144 with live axle. Can I put some 162 rails on it? Are the a-arms the same length for both suspensions?

Yes, and No

I believe there are lots of people doing this, but they are going to someone in the aftermarket, as M-10 only makes rails to 159. Even doing the 159 I believe you would also have to replace the link to the live axle, but that is no biggie.

Someone else will have to tell where they get the longer rails made, either Ice Age or maybe CR racing, not sure.

i know cr had plans to make the live axle rails but i dont know if they did & the rear arm is differnt
