"Lt. Dan"-- Polaris GenII FULL MOD RMI gear drive ---ROLLING CHASSIS SOLD!!!
LETS GET SERIOUS!!! Let's get LT. DAN into a new home....
I NEED to sell my baby. No trades, please.
I bought this brand new in 2001 as a red Snow Check Special 800 144.
This is a fun chassis to ride. It's light and nimble.
Complete tear down and rebuild. Finished Feb 2004. Final assembly by Fabcraft.
(The only 3 original stock parts are the steering arms on top the spindles, brake cylinder and steering bell crank under the engine.)
In 2008, I originally listed this at $13,500.
I've edited my price to $5900 for the complete turnkey chassis and engine.
That's about a 1/4th of what I have into buidling this sled.
Can ya make me a sweet offer?
It's got about 1000 miles total on the chassis and engine since the complete tear down and rebuild in 2004.
It weighs about 370 or so without the engine and chassis dry. That puts it somewhere around 450 turn-key dry.
For those of you who know me, I take care of my stuff. I maintain it. I don't beat it up. It's got low miles. I keep it indoors when not riding.
The chassis highlights:
RMI gear drive
159" finger track 2.25" fingers, 2.52" pitch
2008 edition EZ Ryde suspension with Fox Zero Pros
Holz scratchers
2003 edition VanAmburg Race 156/159 tunnel--running board coolers
Modified GenII bulkhead...raised 2" to fit the taller style tunnel.
MASSIVE Van Amburg double pass U cooler under the tunnel extension.
Boss seat Hi-rise.
Fox Floats on the front
Wimpy radius rods and 39.5" to 41.5" stance.
Simmons GenIII cnc'd prototype skis.
Holz spindles
Mountain Machines steering rack
Polaris primary (has about 250 miles since rebalance)
Polaris button secondary with about 150 miles on it and stock R-8 helix. Practically brand new.
(I've put a Team Tied secondary on it this summer, but I don't want to let that go with the sled just yet.)
Fabcraft 4" handle bars
Mountain Machines 2" articulated riser.
Wildchild steering post and hoop
Sportech handle bars--chrome
sportech skid plate--grey
sportech windshield--chrome brand new and never installed. Still in plastic wrap on the shelf.
AvengerIII egt gauge
Boss Noss--50hp shot
Outlaw carbon/kevlar hood with custom paint
clear gas tank with Union Bay Racing billet cap
Multi-range Variflow
Some of the pictures show a PSI Genesis engine. That's not the engine in it now.
In 2009 I pulled the PSI engine and put in a fresh rebuilt 2003 VES 800 with twins and T8rz Porting (Wayde 'turbotater' Johnson).
Hotseat cheater heads with 14:1 domes.
New CPI Racing (JJ Machine) crank rebuild with wide PTO bearing.
Wayde's engines RIP really hard. He knows how to port and build an engine very well. See the 1500 triple that he build that is the WORLD RECORD normally aspirated two stroke.
Call him at 208-731-2396 or email him at t8rzporting@hotmail.com and ask him what he did to this engine.
CUSTOM SLP twin pipes (with JAWS mufflers, PSI stingers, SLP chambers, PSI manifolds).
PERC. Not too many GenII's with reverse.
DET. detonation sensor
There is more on it and I'll add them as I remember.
