LP gas regulators freezing

Wondering if anyone has problems with their LP gas regulators freezing up in the winter time with their bottles mounted outside? Have heard that this can/does happen and what do you do to prevent this from occuring? Know that keeping my bottle inside the trailer is not the safest, but am still looking/exploring options for mounting it outside. Don't have enough room on the tongue to mount a bottle(s), so leaves me with mounting on the passenger side vee, or under the trailer. Don't know if I could mount a tank under the trailer as the trailer sits low to the ground.

ive had my camper regulator freeze up when its cold out. i have yet had the snowmobile trailer regulator freeze up, its a horizontal tank under the trailer, it has a two stage regulator vs the campers single stage. I dont know if thats the difference or not, have had problems at high altitude with the single stage units and read that the two stage units are more consistent at altitude.

I have a horizontal tank under the trailer and when I first installed it I had a single stage regulator and it would freeze all the time so I switched to a dual stage regulator and have never had an issue since
