Lowering rear suspension on 6000HO

Hello All,
I'm considering lowering the rear suspension on my '05 600 and was wanting to know if there are any drawbacks to doing this? My thought is besides the advantage to a shorter rider( I'm 5'9"), the center of mass would be lower and handling would improve. Does this sound right? Also, why is the rear suspension setup 4" higher on the sixes verses the fanners?

Hey Todd - I've done this and am very pleased . It handles much better . I can fax you the companies template for the holes specs. You can call me at 209.345.2330 .

Yeah, I downloaded the templates off Michigan Snow Hawk's web site before they pulled the plug. How much do these templates lower the backend? Did you drop the fork tubes in the clamps to match the rear drop?

dropped rear

Hey Todd I also thought the same thing with lower center of Gs. Are you using the zx2 and doing this drop? Did you get a 136 track yet I will pull mine off if you are interested. Let me know Thanks Les 605-225-6900

It lowered the rear 2 in. By installing the simmons gen 11 ski without the twin axis , that lowered the front 1.5 to 2 in and matched the rear nicily .
