Low enclosed trailer

Looking to trade up to a trailer that is designed more like a car trailer. I cannot use the deck over style for summer use. The heavier axles is the biggest reason for needing a different trailer. I know I will be looking at Triton for the brand. More or less just looking for the good, bad, and ugly. For this style for a sled trailer.

I believe the best option is the 7' wide x length. From Triton, it's the PR-247, I think. Sleds have to be put in off-set and you put them in the trailer in the same order you take the out the other end. No room to be side by side or pass by. IMO this is a small price to pay.

With a 6' ceiling, it is roughly truck height or slightly taller. Fits into same wind tunnel as the tow vehicle, so low resistance. Low weight if all aluminum. Can't wait until I can upgrade to one like this.

If you are looking for 4 place and with long mtn sleds, you will need a 24' box plus the typical 5' V nose. Total length is usually 31'. Those that have them, love them. Those that don't, want one !

I ordered my Trails West with a car towing package. Awesome for towing 4 sleds and my TJ with 5" lift and 35's will fit (aired down)

I beg to differ. I don't have a 7' wide nor do I want one. I use my trailer to haul cars frequently so the 7 wide is useless to me except for sleds. I wanted a trailer to do both.

Mine is an enclosed car trailer that also hauls sleds. It is a 20' box with 5' vee and we get 4 146-153 mountain sleds in there easily.

If you are looking for one and can do without a Triton, mine is for sale. I had to go to a gooseneck to haul 2 cars at a time. Shoot me a message if you are interested.

Waiting on my Charmac Trisport to be built now. IMO it will be the best of both worlds. I haul a lowered car over the summer and it will be nice for that. Got the 7' tall interior height so the door will also be longer amd lower the approacj angle. Also got the 1.125" thick floor so it will be super stout. When i get it ill post up some pics.
