What are you guys running for clutching at low elevations? Im running the Silber kit on my 800 with his clutching and cant seem to pull the rpm. 7900 is all I'm getting with 10lbs boost at 1500 ft. I tried dropping down to 68g weight with no change. Whats everbody else running and are they hitting 8300?

This don't sound like a clutching issue to me, more like a engine issue. Man, I'm pulling 68g on my stock sled! Have this problem appeared now or is it sence "new"?

I agree check your reeds!

otherwise here's the clutching most, I think..,of us (low elev.) are running.

primary: -175-280 (yes 280 is low but will compensate for not using 80grams weights),
-69grams weights (you could go with 76 or 80gm but then keep Justin's 165-310 oarnge spring)

secondary: stock spring or a bit stiffer (I think stock is like 180-260 and the one you have now is 180-280 so that's ok.
straight 48 or straight 50 helix

gearing: up one tooth on the small gear for me. had 21/41 on my td800 and thought it was a bit sluggish on the bottom end but will help with trackspeed for sure.

Sorry everyone if I giving away all of my setups lol, I got them from Iq? on here.

Sorry ya I meant 78g and dropped to 76g. I'm not really sure what I got for helix and springs. Justin sent them with his kit. Ill have to check it out this weekend

Im in the process of getting my turbo dragon setup for low elevation at the moment too.

Now im at 5-6psi at approx 1000ft and have hit 8850RPM....

Waiting for Justin to get back to me about some of his adjustable weight kits, the sled came with some 71g weights wich is obviously way too light for low alt.

you can change your primary spring too it's 30$ against 100$ for a set of weights. Justin's primary (orange) is 165-310, you can go 165-280 or so, this will keep the rpm down.

i run 76g weights at roughly the same elevation as you

Ok, thanks for the input guys!

Not sure what primary spring is on there, but I will check this weekend.

Tree_climber:

what spring are you running with those weights and what boost level?

mines a 700 and it will only go down to 8psi i dont have the low boost wastegate actuator i have the orange spring

Just checked the setup in my primary clutch, 70g weights and an all white spring...

Not sure where on the scale this white spring is, any input on this?
