low elevation helix help 900 rmk dragon 166

Hey guys im new here and just bought an 06 900 dragon 166 and i mainly ride low elevation in the prairies and would like to know if anyone would be able to suggest a better helix than stock for me in these conditions. It has the full slp performance package and im running the stock 166 track. I dont want it to be a speed demon but i would like lots of take off out of the hole. Is there i better helix than stock for me?

66-46-46 will work for you, the stock Helix is a giant Turd, sell it for scrap to the aluminum recyclers.

Yes, it is good all around. Helix's for the tss-98 are getting scarce so there are not a lot of choices available anymore unless you want to get a whole new clutch.

sorry to high jack but i got a 68-40-.46/68-44-.46 its brand new might be a good one for ya ?

I have a 70/46/42 64/44/42 kicking around, would any of these be any goog for my application, i also have 64/42/36 and 58/42/36 . Anyone else have any sucess with any other sizes out there? thanks for your guys input so far!

I would try the first one you listed and see how it works for you. If you are riding in deep powder it might trench when starting out. Are they ER Helix's for Electronic reverse?

IMO the 70/46/42 is way too steep, the 64/44/42 would be the best "all around" performance.

My .02 cts

if you have them laying around, try each of them and see what you like best. The 70 is going to be very steep and make your sled spin a lot starting out and trench if you are in deep powder. None of the helix's you listed are going to be ideal but if you got em you might as well try them.

RMK2112 is running a similar helix to the second one so if he says it will work good it probably will.
