low chassis voltage 07 dragon

i have a 07 dragon that dies when riding. dash goes out and sled only idles. give it gas and it only bogs. let it idle like that for a minute or so and dash resets and comes back on and you can drive away like nothing happened?
brought it to dealer and i had a low chassis voltage code stored. unfortanately when the dealer had it he couldnt recreate problem.
i get it home and it does it within the first mile.
dealer said he would start by changing the stator. what do you guys think? hate to change parts for nothing when im payin.

Before your dealer does the I don't know whats wrong so throw parts at it, have him check the taillight harness and handwarmers. Better yet, you unplug the warmers and taillight harness under the hood, then ride it and see what happens.

thanks for the reply i appreciate it. i took off the gas tank last night and found no problem with chaffing on taillight harness but will still unplug and ride, i'll unplug the warmers as well. thing is the people i read with this problem the sled still runs fine, mine does not. it will not do anything but idle. come to think of it i allways had to have the grips on low because they would get so hot, hard to hold onto.
