losing coolant on M8

I have noticed I'm losing coolant since a put a big bore kit in. Been out 4 times this year and by the end of the day the coolant in 1/2 way down the bottle. Topped it up today rode for 2 hrs and it was down again. Can not smell antifreeze or see any leaks where could it be going? If it is leaking on the inner O ring on the head could this be my performance issue also? Any help would be great

How did you bleed the air out of the system? If you have any air on the cooling system it will heat up and cause vapor lock. The high temp air will pump any coolant out your overflow. If you have a bad o ring it could have the same effect, but i would check for air first.

Can not see any coolant anywhere, should be able to see some under the can. I keep my sled very clean so I should be able to see a leak. I guess I'm a neat freak

but how did you eliminate the air...??...usually the front of the sled raised a couple feet so the air raises up from back cooler to the higher point...and run engine on and off a few times replenishing the fluid...if it is your base gasket and its going into your crankcase you really would not smell it or even notice it smoking in the small quantitys and long time frames that seem to be indicated..

Did a comp test on my coolant, pressured up to 15 psi and I let it sit for 15 min and never moved. I removed the pipe and looked down the Y pipe and there is a lot of excessive oil puddled up in front of the pistons. What would cause this? Don't know maybe there should be. Doing a comp test on the coolant system would that tell me my base gasket is ok? and head gaskets.
