loosing coolant

Sled started loosing coolant today, fast, went through all our water and had to get towed back to the truck. Its leaking in the engine bay by the bottom of the steering post but behind the motor. Didn't see any tell tell signs when looking at it in the snow today.

Any ideas?

I'm going to pull the belly/center pan tomorrow and see if I can see anything.

There is a small line that runs under the motor to the carbs or throttle body. I dont know that line is big enough to lose LOTS of coolant fast but you never know. Also there a a few spots where the coolant lines will rub. You are almost describing the area of your front cooler.

It is the area in front of the front cooler, and under the throttle body's. It's not the cooler or any of the main hoses.

How small of a line is the one under the throttle bodys?

its a pretty small line but you can still lose a lot of coolant....could also be around the pump in the front of the case

It should be pretty easy to see where it's leaking if its coming out that fast. The line their taking about is a 1/4" ID line thats about 1/2" OD

Found it. It was the line leaking, we'll at least it looked that way, it was pinched. know in a hour or two once I put it back together for certain.
