Looks like Nascar may be a different game naxt year!

I was wondering when that NASCAR bubble would burst. Maybe now we will be able to turn on the TV and see all the other forms of racing. Most of it seems like a bunch of hacks that pick fits and leave their helmets on!

Anyone who still believes a winner on Sunday will mean sales on Monday are in fantasy land. There is NOTHING on those cars that are based off of a car that is sitting in your garage. It is a spec car, they are all designed the same except for small differences just to have them to deviate the brands. I am suprised that any of the manufacturers are still in it, except for maybe what powers them, and none of those are based off of v6 you will find in that car at the dealer.

I think in the near future you will see a lot more car circuits going back to stock car era, in fact at Barrett-Jackson last weekend I saw a lot of support for what Ford is doing with its mustangs and the series that they are supporting, hint think IROC in Mustangs you can buy from the factory.

I guess moonshine numbers will increase once again

Good, it needs to go back to the way it once was, none of this "car of tomorrow" garbage.

Remember, dirts for racing, asphalts just for getting there.....

A Ford rep was on Sirius Nascar radio one day saying that they get a 400 to 1 return on their investment in Nascar. That was earlier this summer.

Ford rep I talked to at Barrett-Jackson said both them and Chevrolet would be focusing more on production car racing such as Miller Cup racing, take a lot of the tuning out of it and racing spec cars, so that a lot more is dependant on driver skill. Reason to believe that a production class series such as the Miller cup racing will soon gain ground as a comeback IROC series, and then it's own series not just a support one.

Either way, more racing, more options, more fun.....
