Looking to install a wall mount LP heater in my trailer.

I have a small 2 place enclosed Interstate trailer so the radiant heater would work fine I believe. Just need something to keep the trailer warmer so I can comfortably change inside, Plus I'd like to start melting the sleds off on my way home. I always top of my tank before I leave the mountains and I always add HEET to the tank so moisture isn't an issue for me.

Any suggestions on what brand to look at?

Hey PJ i all we run in our big 4 places is Pro Com LP gas heaters. I have a red flame type which is a little better so u dont get the gas smell, but honestly the blue flame is just as good and it will cook you right out of the trailer. When you get almost up to the hill go and turn it on and then get dressed in heat. My buddy will keep his running all the way home with no problems. Dont listen to other guys telling you what not to do because i know the three other guys that run these ones have great luck.

When doing a furnace search I was told that the vent free heaters like the Pro Com and others worked but also created alot of moisture. One of the propane people that I talked with about propane heaters said that some of the vent free heaters created so moisture that the walls, ceiling, and everything in the trailer was wet/damp. They told me that the heater should be vented to get rid of the moisture. Now, I don't know that for a fact, but was also told by a person with a vent free heater in their garage that they had lots of moisture when running the heater. So with what information that was presented to me an RV style heater looks like the right way to go.
Again, I'm not going to say that the vent free heaters are bad, it's an individual choice which way to go.
Good luck with your project and let us know how it worked for you.
