I want to get some new running boards for my RMK this year. I am just looking for your opinions on what you have used and the "likes" and "dislikes" of the brands out there. I want to pick some up at the Snow Show so I can get them on before the season really gets going. So,,,let me hear your opinions....Thanks. PB

p.s. I would like to meet some of you at the show if possible. My riding buddy cant be bothered with his old sled this year so I will need new people to ride with. Hope to meet up with ya....

From what I have read and heard I would go with Skinz Air Frame running boards. I have some on order for my Assaults. They are pricey though. For something cheaper I have heard good about the betterboards

WRP all the way, one they are local but that is not the most important. The boards from WRP are very well built and they last. Marc is awesome to deal with and they work hard to please.

X2 on what he said but take it a step further and install his Wide Board Kit. We had 2 Dragons with them and they rocked!!! Since he's local it's not a huge deal to have some custom Powder Coated for added awesomeness.

I have a set of WRP boards on my 02 and love them. Marc is a great guy to work with also.
I will definitely be putting his boards on my next sled as well.

I hope to check out the WRP boards at the show if they are there. I want to see and feel the product before making my final decision. I looked into the BB and the MH boards, but didn't think about the WRP's. Hope they are making deals at the show.

On my D8 I went with Carl Marcum's Meathooker Feethooker's. Very competitive price, awesome design possibility's. He's out of Boise.

Marc won't have a booth this year but I'm sure there will be a vendor selling his product. Run down to Orem if needed and get a hands on.

WRP Boards

I will not have a booth at the show this year, I ran out of time and energy. I will have representation there from Tri City Polaris and MotoFrugals (Rocky Mountain Snowmobile).

We do claim to make the best built boards on the market and also the best priced. Our sales are through the roof already this year because of the excellent performance we had the last two seasons. I will try to work the Moto booth on one of the nights, if i am not there just ask for Jeremy at the moto booth and he will take care of you. If you are looking for boards for a 2007-2010 Polaris I recommend our wide board kit, it was a huge seller the last two seasons. If you are looking for boards for a Pro just go with our standard kit. We also made a new complete seat for the 2008-2012 dragon, rmk, Pro.

If one of the vendors do not have what you need in stock they can take your order and we will drop ship first thing on Monday.

I will do my best to be there. Thanks for the support snowesters. Gimp, Ron and RMKed (harrysmith500 i know who you are!!)

I would say WRP all the way too. Great guy and great product.

Marc that seat looks awesome. Cant wait to come pick mine up.

Thanks for all the help on this decision. I really hope to check out the products and to talk to the sellers to get as much knowledge and best price I can. Hopefully I don't find something else I can't live without and spend the budget on that.:face-icon-small-win I will look at the websites just to know what to look for at the show. Once again, thank you. Hope to see ya at the show.:face-icon-small-hap

I Do Ride a mountain assault seat on my D8! So, in fact i throw down for WRP! I'm even rocking a gel CRF seat from WRP!

My buddy's dad did put your board sets on his Pro's, from Tri-city, at my recommendation that he needed board inserts.

So, Marc, I'm not a hater!
