Any body work in the On-site power generation industry (generator technician)? I'm looking to get my foot in the door somewhere (preferably northwest region) once I complete my schooling this December. Looking for words of advice or possible employment opportunities. Thanks!!

Temporary On-Call Plant Operator
Whitehorse
Salary Range: $24.65/hr – 29.00/hr

Yukon Energy requires a temporary, on call, Plant Operator for approximately six months, based out of Whitehorse. The successful applicants will have the following knowledge and experience:
• Some vocational training and/or experience in the operation and light maintenance of power generation equipment;
• Valid class 5 driver’s license;
• Current first aid ticket;
• Experience in utility safety procedures;
• Some experience with computer based applications such as Word and Excel.
