Looking for top of the line sledding gear, any suggestions?

Been sledding for a few years now and decided to go all out on new gear.

I first wore my old snowboarding gear but that didn't last, I went to waterproof carhart stuff but that was too heavy.. So I'm now looking for suggestions on jackets/pants/gloves/boots.

Not concerned at all with price, just want the best..

Thanks!

IMO, either Klim or MotorFist. Go find a dealer and try on both brands to find what fits you.

X2 on the Klim gear, "by the best and cry once". However if you want to save a few dollars PM, CBP he's got great prices on used Klim gear, good guy to deal with, has some stuff on page 6 of the classifieds, also check swap meet area for deals.

This is a compilation of things I have owned or owned by my friends that IMO are the best in our group. So the best of what I have tested.

Cold day gloves... Motorfist Recon
Warm day gloves... HMK Union or FXR elevation Lite
Boots... HMK Boa or Motorfist Stomper. Depends on personal preference if you like laces or can trust the Boa system.
If you like bibs Klim makes the best. Not even close. However if you like pants Motorfist Rekon pants are top notch. Lightweight, breathable, tough, but you will need to buy suspenders. HMK makes the Peak 2 which are awesome. Suspenders are built in very lightweight and very comfortable.
Jacket... Klim Storm or Motorfist Rekon....

Pants and jacket were both recommended under the assumption that you understand layering and how that works.

Klim uses goretex, goretex is a huge supporter of wilderness, careful where you're money is spent if you don't like a future if xc skis

I've had numerous klim jackets, bibs and boots since 2003. I now have tried Motorfist gear and that is now my 1st choice.
Just as water proof as the klim gear but breathes better IMHO. The Rekon bibs and jacket are top notch stuff also the stompers are a very good boot I use them and HMK voyageur boots.
You also may want to look into C3 gear as it looks like some high quality gear I may try some when they come out with bibs as of now the only make pants.
