Looking for somebody to rebuild my Walker Evans in MN

I need to have all four Walker Evans shocks on my Assault rebuilt. Does anybody know of a reputable person to do this in Minnesota, preferably in the Twin Cities area? Any advice would be great!

Not sure about your area..but Curt or Justin at Fastrax in Washington will have them done and shipped back to you within the same week. They can also revalve them to your rider weight and riding style if wanted or needed.

Just bubblewrap them and send them in the mail(UPS)

Deycore Inc in Stillwater, MN and/or B-Line Controls in Lindstrom, MN. I am pretty sure they both stock WE parts. I know Deycore does, and supplies alot of other people in the US with the parts. If you do a search for Deycore they have a web site. B-Line does not have a web site. I have used both of these guys, and had my shocks back to me with in a couple of days. Usually next day. Mid winter 2-3 days. Good prices also. Think Deycore is still running there summer discounts.

I agree with the above.... shipping is actually less hassle than driving to a shop...plus you can choose the best rather than the closest.

Are you completely happy with the valving and character of the shocks???

Will you have the valving or springs changed?

There is a difference between a normal service (oil and nitrogen) and a full service with new seals.

If you ride more trails... send them to a flatland specialist... more mountains.. a mountain specialist...Both have the skill and tools to do the service... but the right one will know what you need for your riding style.

I've had great service from FasTrax and Tri City Performance for the Walker Evans shocks. (Both air and coil-spring shocks)

FREDDY @DIAMOND SHOCKS

diamond shocks out of fargo specializes in walkers too

6+ months and a lot of begging I finally got my buddy's shocks back from Freddy at DIAMOND.

Parts back-ordered, U.P.S. must have lost 'em, the dog ate my homework, etc...
