Looking for Riding Partners in Steamboat\Hayden

A buddy and I are looking for some people to ride with. I live in Michigan and he lives in Florida. We both keep sleds in Hayden at a buddys house and normally ride with him. Unfortunatly, he blew his shoulder out and cannot ride. We have a 3 place trailer there, but problem is we don't have a truck to pull it. We normally fly into Hayden or Denver and just rent a car to get there and go with him. I looked into renting a SUV, but most if not all rental car company's will not let you tow. So now we are stuck with 2 sleds we cannot get to the Mountain :(

If anyone needs someone to ride with and has a truck, we would be more than willing to help out with fuel, etc.....

Just a thought. Rent a car. Let him drive that when you are up. You drive his truck. Win! If he's storing your stuff for ya, I'm pretty sure he's a good dude. SHouldn't have an issue with swapping rides for a few days, one would think. And since he's living in Hayden, a case of PBR wouldn't hurt his feelings either.

He just bought a brand new $50k truck last week, so I'm not so sure he would let us take it until get gets a few miels on it :)

This really sux.... snow is great and I can't ride:(. The other guy that goes with me doesn't make up hsi mind until the last minute when flights skyrocket for me. He needs to get his priorities staright

That's funny I have a buddy between Steamboat and Hayden with the same issue. His name's Troy. I'll be out there the beginning of March and if our dates coincide I'll help you out. Also if you rent a Nissan suv from avis they usually come with a receiver. You will need to bring your own hitch but if you teflon coat it they'll never know the difference.

Thanks for the heads up on Avis. I'm wanting to book for the weekend of 2/20 and either 3/2 or 3/9.

Are you by chance talking about the old UPS Troy?!! There can't be too many Troys in that area?

I and a buddy will be out in steamboat next week feb 20-25 will have a four place trailer and room for a couple sleds and guys, probly riddin buffalo pass and rabbit ears, or anywhere else nearby with good snow, let me know if interested.

Just booked flight for 2/24-2/27 if anyone wants to ride. Preliminary dates set for 3/16 and 3/30 with my other riding buddy. If anyone can do 1st or 2nd weekend in March, let me know.

We rode north towards wy and there was untracked snow everywhere. Bushy were you at the Roadhouse having a few cocktails instead of riding?
