Looking for reviews on Forward riser from AMP

Just looking for some reviews of the forward riser for the telescoping bars from After Market Products?

Pros/cons
handling
etc.

I put the Rox 2" riser on mine to move the the handle bars forward and it was worth every penny. It lets you stand father forward with handlebars turned.

I bought the Rox because the local dealer had it in stock.

Love mine, only complaint I have is they sent me 2 top plates( the plate for the top of the riser that hold the bars to the riser) and neither of them fit correctly. I ended up using the stock plate.

I have the four and a half inch riser and have had it on my sled since it was new in 2008.I like the way it keeps you forward and it is very tough and sturdy.
In the product review section I have a post on that and the AMP gauge cage.
All their billit products are top quality.

I just installed it on my sled this morning. I went riding today afterwards. It's nice to have taller bars, but quite frankly I wish it was a 6" riser instead of a 2" ..... but the added 2" is still better than nothing ;)

As far as quality, it's a very nicley machined peice .... took about 15 minutes to install. I didn't have to re-route any cables, but I did have to take my zip ties off and re-do those to get it to not unhook my brake light cable.

I agree with Dogmeat.

I love mine but, I wish it was 6" instead of 2". I have spoken to AMP about making a taller one but, they don't think it will sell well because all the cables would have to be lengthened.

its great i had the rox 2" riser to just get them forward and i broke the bars loose three times from doing rock drops and jumping. the amp one is sturdy and looks great. I will say that if your looking for just additional height dont buy it. you need it to get the bars forward and its perfect for that, thats why i just got the 1/2 " rise instead of the 2"

does moving the bars forward make the sled any harder to pow turn up an incline once you already pointing down. I know it would be a more agressive stance, but I don't want it to take away from the manouverability.

With it rising up and forward it puts the bars where Arctic Cat engineers planed for balance and keeping the rider forward stance.
With the newer sleds with the telescopic post it pulls the bars back changing balance but with the AMP riser it puts you more forward so you can keep the front end down while climbing.
Other brands that you can bolt down in whatever position you like, the bolts can easily back off and move up or down stripping the groves that keep it in place when tightened.
Buy the AMP you will like it.

I have one on mine and I really like it. I also had to undo all the tie wraps to allow the cables to reach but it looks great and my bars have never moved.
