I had one of those and can tell you what pistons to use and I can get complete gaskets kits for you. They made about 4 different pistons for that engine though. I need to know the numbers on the piston dome.

Send me a pm or give me a call.

Dave

i might have to no luck on cylinder but thanks for all your help dave. it will be an expensive lesson learned never buy psi motor. dave if you now anybody that could use the parts let me know i think i will look into a rev with an 809 in it or just a 809 motor thanks

I've got a UB 806 built off the 670. 76mm stroke, 82mm bore built with the factory Rotax jugs if it interests you.

Macsummit,
I don't know what its rated at for power. I had a 780 years ago that is the same motor except for the stroke and it dynoed 170 on Union Bays dyno.
The only difference is the 780 had the 74mm stroke and would fit in a stock case and the 802 has the 76mm stroke and has to have the case clearanced for the bottom of the rod to clear same as your 825. The main difference between your 825 and the 802 is your running PSI jugs and the 802 has stock jugs with oversize sleeves.
Precision Performance Products in Id Falls, Id built quite a few of these motors also.
My son in law acquired this sled last year and it kept blowing base gaskets so we tore it down and it had a broken threaded boss for one of the cylinder bolts and had been JB welded. I had an extra case so he ported it out, clearanced it for the crank, put new bearings on the crank, new pistons (pro-x) and had the squish angle on the heads re-cut. The squish was flat with the crown of the piston and that would cause detonation. Was spring time when he got it running and has only made a couple passes in the field to check it out so It hasn'd been run since rebuilt. Its in a 98 summit X chassis with a lot of light weight parts etc.
I done some trading with my son in law and got this sled with the intention of setting it up for the local grass drags, then they didn't have any here this year.
I don't have a lot in it and have 2 other mod sleds so I really dont need it.
I've got rite at $2,000 total in the whole sled so if thats something that might work for you, I'd let it go for that.
I know when I built my 780 in 1996, I had $6,500 in it from the carbs to the pipes.

OOPS, I had my wires crossed. Shoulda verified things before trying to use my pooooor memory.lol
The 825 was built off he stock stroke. 70mm. The 900 version was a stroker.
I can get you a cylinder but he wants $800. Its supposed to be ready to bolt on.

Thanks for the thread guys, Im curious about the 825. Dave we chatted last year bout the 740, thanks its running strong. Your original setup i believe. I currently have a stock 670 and im interested in another BB. More info on the 825 would be awesome. Thanks. Oh and i have a set of 740 sleeves for the stock jugs in case its relevant at this point!:beer;
