Looking for Operating RPM - OVS kit

I have an OVS M8 Race gas turbo with there porting. I was wondering what I should be shooting for for RPM's ???

Right now it is set up to run 7800- 7900 ish depending on snow and the AF gauge holds at 12.6 all day long at WOT, to me it is running great and the sled seems to sound perfect.

Only reason I am asking is a ran into a guy on the hill said his sled was running 8600, seems a bit high to me. i know some of it might be the gauge but just looking for some info.

What year M8? I would call OVS and trust what they say, especially if it is their kit AND porting.

my 09 m8 with boonie rg 2860 turbo was running 8250 WOT

8250rpm

Tachs are so deceiving. Mine(08-09) likes 8000 and my 08 pipe quits at 8250 no matter how light the weights.

I may turn the boost up a bit and see if I get another couple hundred rpm's out of it. It just runs so strong at 7800-7900 I have trouble changing something that works.

Mine is 7900-8000 and it is very happy.
