looking for cheap hotel info in togwatee

just was curious if there is any other hotels around togwatee or near it (20 or 30 miles away) instead of stayn at togwatee mountain lodge. like super 8 or econo lodge or anything like that. this is my first time going to togwatee just was wondering if there is anywhere cheaper than any of the lodges. numbers and any info would be greatly appreciated.

Try Dubois. Here is a link that can get you started. It's around 45 miles but there are places to unload before Togwotee. The people in Dubois are friendly (usually) and could give you lots of info on where to ride. Your options are endless. The trails will take you to Togwotee, it just depends on how much you want to ride.

Check Out Lava Mountain Lodge

Lava Mountain Lodge has some very good prices and great food. the trail is not so good this year but it is only about five minutes to great snow. You can ride along the highway either direction or trailer less than two miles and you are on the trail. They have several different lodging options including their Grizzly Camping Cabins for $45.00/ night, just bring your sleeping bag and pillows and use the coin op showers in the main lodge. They also might bargain on a room or one of their new park model cabins. They are centrally located between Union Pass and Togwotee near Brooks Lake about 20 miles west of Dubois and 20 miles east of togwotee.
