Looking for a complete Polaris based engine. 180HP or more.

What y'all got? I'm not really opposed to anything unless I cant afford it but I got a good chunk o' change to get started with. It will go into an '09 IQr 153". I won't do another 800 mono block but I might be interested in a PAR 910. Might be time to start building a w/c triple but what do those cost with pipes and carbs and ignition. Who else makes engines complete? I want reliable HP. Is an 800 VES based twin better? When your into it a minimum of $3,000, I want to explore my options. What engines am I over looking?

Cooder has a complete W/C 1200 triple for $3500. That'll put a smile on your face. You'd have to pull a spark plug wire off to get 180HP tho.

Zippy on here has a 1050 in a Gen 2 Polaris. It rips and he's ridden it less than 6 times since it was built. He's in Butte.

I have 05 900 Polaris.SLP top end with Indy Dan full billet crank. Will sell complete with clutch, throttle bodies. Had a 975 top end that would have made the 180 easy but sold it. The torque on the 900 is amazing. around 900 miles on complete rebuild. I now the slp top end was only around 165 figured I would throw it out there. Have a set of twin pipe posted for this engine to.

Hammerman- funny you should mention a 900. I actually have one of these for a backup sled. I dont think I will go this route but it had been thought about. Those twin pipes however might be of interest to me.
