It's killing me trying to remember where I saw it, but some shop with a website had two sets of race pipe style mufflers on their classifieds page for ~$25. Not Fastrax, not Avid, not Holtz, not Timbersled, not Carl's, not Fabcraft, but I know I saw it in the last couple months. They had both black painted and ceramic coated sets. None of that matters if you don't have race pipes though, the stinger diameter is different between race pipes and "consumer" pipes. Unless you're modding the pipes.

I talked with the guys at CMX. They new more about what I wanted than I know. My current can has been cut in half and gutted. I think it is overly loud. The guys at CMX said the stingers would not be much better. So I am now looking for a can for the SLP twin pips. Thanks guys for the help.

Ahh yes. I have the race twin setup with those stingers they have for sale. They are loud enough to where I wear ear plugs pretty often. Illegally loud in any state that has any sound limit. Piss everyone off loud regardless of the law. I cut mine open last winter, packed it with glass, and for about a month it was tolerable, then all the glass blew out again and went back to too friggin loud. Not running that setup this year.
It should be said that if you have race twins, you can't simply get a "consumer" pipeset muffler/can and be done. The stinger diameter on the race twins is smaller than that of the consumer twins, so without modification the mufflers cannot be interchanged. That came from Dustin Pancheri at SLP when I emailed him with the same questions you probably asked CMX.

I would also be willing to trade if someone wanted a louder can on their 800 slp twin pipe setup. My can has been gutted and reduced in size. It has a good sound, but the wife would like something more conservative.
