Looking at moving to Bend Oregon, is there good riding around there?

nov-june.10 miles to snowpark.can be steep and stuck all day if you like that.

To tell you the truth, I live in Bend and I am gonna haul my sled to Eastern Oregon and leave it to ride there all winter. I enjoy the open, steep, tree filled terrain of Eastern Oregon. A large majority of the good riding areas are getting or have been closed or restricted in Central Oregon. The riding community is good there, but just not the area to ride like there is in the wallowas.
Lots of riding opitions locally, and lots more 1hr-4hrs away.
Make sure you have lights and registration, you WILL get hassled by the police and USFS riding the popular places near Bend.
Last year was the first year in the last 5 or so I didn't ride in June or July..
